Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners to be held on June 27, 2016 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:00 A.M.

 

Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on June 27, 2016 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

  1. Open with prayer

 

  1. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held June 20 & June 23, 2016

 

  1. Consider the following:
  • Claims & Treasurer’s Receipt
  • Resolution to write off uncollectible funds for the Lincoln County Noxious Weed

Department

  • Fee report submitted by the County Sheriff
  • Authorize the Chairman to sign a lease agreement with NMC for a skid steer for

the Lincoln County Department of Roads

  • Discuss and consider entering The county of Lincoln into a three (3) year lease agreement with Gordon Petersen and Mary Petersen, whereby the County will lease an office (Suite 203) in a commercial building located at 102 East 3rd Street in the city of North Platte, Lincoln County, Nebraska, from Gordon Petersen and Mary Petersen. A copy of the Lease Agreement is available at the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office for Public Inspection.
  • Adoption of a resolution for addition of securities by NebraskaLand National Bank as

pledged to the County Clerk

  • Adoption of resolutions to authorize the Chairman to sign Interlocal Agreements to

house inmates at the Lincoln County Detention Center for the following counties:

Keith, Kimball, Thomas & Logan

  • Authorize the Chairman to sign a subscription contract with GIS Workshop for the

Lincoln County Emergency Management Office

  • Resolution to transfer $3900 from the General Misc. Budget to the General Federal

Payroll (O.A.S.I.) Budget

  • Resolution to transfer $150 from the General Misc. Budget to the General Public

Defender Budget

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

  1. 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on June 20 & June 23, 2016

  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Notice of valuation changes as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Special Valuation Protests submitted by Jerome Vieyra, Francis C. Peck, Sr., Bonnie
  1. Smith & Donald Goddard

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

  1. 10:00 A.M. Discuss and consider a grant application to be submitted by the

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office to the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety

 

  1. 10:10 A.M. Discuss and consider adopting a Resolution to consummate a transaction whereby real estate (legally described as The West 54’ of Lot 161, Original Town of North Platte, Lincoln County, Nebraska) is acquired by The county of Lincoln for the purchase price of $72,500.00 from LeRoy W. Wood.

 

  1. 10:15 A.M. Discuss and consider adopting a Resolution which adopts Amendment to Article 11 of the Zoning Regulations of The county of Lincoln, Nebraska.
